Fundraiser for Josh Harkins

Josh Harkins, a home-grown reservoir area candidate for Senator, District 20, was recently honored with a Fundraiser and Reception at the Ergon Headquarters in Flowood.

Josh Harkins grew up at the reservoir living at Glen Cove, Audubon Point and Sunrise Point. He was a volunteer fireman at the Reservoir Fire Department while attending NWR High School. He is a 1997 graduate of Mississippi State University.

Josh has worked in real estate and construction since 1997 and has owned and operated JMH Construction Company since 1999. Josh is a licensed Real Estate Broker and a Mississippi State Licensed Contractor.

Beginning at a young age, Josh has volunteered for numerous Republican candidates, going door to door working to help elect the likes of Kirk Fordice as Governor in 1991 and many others since then. Josh has a long held desire to serve as an elected representative of the people of Rankin and Madison Counties, to be their conservative voice in the Mississippi Senate. He is seeking the seat held by Senator Lee Yancey, who is currently running for State Treasurer.

Josh is married to the former Andrea Scales of Brandon. They are the parents of two daughters, Emerson(6) and Carlysle(4), and reside in Flowood.
