ARF Work Day

Helping Hands
Community Work Day

A work day will be held at the Animal Rescue Fund of Mississippi's farm, 963 Holly Bush Road, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday August, 27.

Volunteers will be planting more bushes donated by local nurseries, cutting grass, doing a little construction, cleaning, and walking/bathing/playing with dogs.

Prior volunteer training is not required to participate in the work day. Everyone is invited but kids under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

You do not have to stay the entire time. Any work will be appreciated.  Wear your country clothes.

Please bring a bag of Purina or Pedigree dog food for the dogs.

Questions?  Phone 601-665-2212 or email

The next volunteer training session will be the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, September 3, from 10 a.m. until noon. Be sure to wear old clothes.

There was a great turn out! Volunteers were even treated to watermelon after a very hot day of planting some beautiful trees.

The next word day is coming up on Saturday of Labor Day and all help is appreciated.

We are bringing the kiddos next time to help out!

Great Job Pippa!
