Where's Rush?

Wondering what happened to Rush Limbaugh?

A reader sent us this note explaining the change.

Just wanted to drop a note about changes as of today to WJDX-AM. We have now become AM 620, WJDX……..News, Talk, Sports. It is a hybrid of news and sports. We have retained the best of our sports programming and added a whole new element of the hottest news talk programs available.

The new line-up is as follows:

6a-9a   Ms Sports this Morning with Doug Colson
and Jay White (same as before
except the show moves back an hour)

9a-11a  Glen Beck

11a-2p  Rush Limbaugh

2p-5p   Sean Hannity

5p-6p   Southeastern Drive Time with Steve Ellis
and Anthony Craven (same as before)

6p-8p   PM Drive News Block with America’s Radio News

8p-6a   Fox Sports (same as before)

We will continue to run our college specialty shows from Yall Sports.

Hotty Toddy Hotline will remain on Tuesday at 6pm, followed by Bully Barkline at 7pm. War Eagle Shout will now air Mondays at 8pm, Bama Roll Call will follow Bully Barkline Tuesdays at 8pm, Louisiana State Roar now plays Wednesday at 8pm and The Southern Connection will air Thursday at 8pm.

Weekends will be a mix of Weekend reviews from our Newstalk hosts, specialty programming and Fox Sports. We will continue to carry Nascar, New Orleans Saints Football, and Southern Miss Basketball and Baseball.

With those changes to WJDX we also announce a complete change to WZRX 1590AM. It now becomes Fox Sports Radio, WZRX 1590. It will feature Fox sports full time but will also be the new home for Jim Rome, weekdays from 11am till 2pm. And we’re excited to announce the addition of the Dan Patrick Show weekdays from 8a till 11am.
