A new frozen yogurt shop has opened on Old Fannin Road.  FrutGurt is located behind McDonald's - a few doors down from Little Caesars Pizza.

The store uses the "weigh and pay" method - get a cup, fill it up (as many flavors as you like), add your favorite toppings and then head for the scales, your selection is 45 cents an ounce.

FrutGurt is open Sunday through Thursday from 10am till 9:30pm - Friday and Saturday from 10am till 10pm.

Interesting. I would like to see the projected income on his business plan. I give it 6 months. For the record I gave Spill Grill 3 months.

It appears Swirly (formerly Sweet CeCes) and Berry Berry Good are doing ok, and they are practically next door to each other in Dogwood. It will be nice to have one in the area, and it's certainly located in a highly populated area. Accessible by car, bike, and foot as well. I give it a decent shot. Probably going to check it out tonight actually.

Yeh Spill lasted about a year?
As BB would say, "the spill is gone."
Accessible by bike and foot? Good luck on that one!
FWIW, Spann Rd and buildings on it should never have been allowed to be developed the way it was. Very poorly planned traffic nightmare.
So now we have a practically empty Jitney eyesore, no Spill out bldg, an empty former Bankplus, vacancies at Soulshine bldg...

And you cant lease anything at the old Jitney because the owner lives in NEW YORK, not on Res property. His lease managers were obviously instructed to make it as hard as possible to get in there. Maybe another Indian/muslum owned building. Im pretty sure Macs is owned by Indians, you never see the owners just the 2 poor girls that work their tail off for them.

I know for a fact that Mac's gas is owned my a white gentleman.

Not only that, Mac's offices are right next door to the station in between the store and the car wash, or at least they were a couple years back.
