SoulShine Moving

SoulShine Pizza Factory is leaving the Rez and relocating to Flowood.  They plan to open in their new location in early July.

Following the lead of several other area businesses, SoulShine is moving to Magnolia Marketplace on Highway 25 (across from the Word of Life Church).
They'll be in the spot formerly occupied by the Tex Mex restaurant.

Chris Sartain, founder and co-owner of SoulShine, tells us that their menu will be same but to expect a few surprises once they settle in.  Of course the big change will be in the beverage area, namely adult beverages.

The city of Flowood has approved their alcohol permit so wine and mixed drinks can be served.

The former restaurant has been gutted and being completely remodeled, a stage area is taking shape so you can expect a bit of acoustic music with that pizza.

SoulShine opened for business in 2001 near Castlewoods, they later moved to Old Fannin Road where they've been for the past 6 years.

Soulshine operates two restaurants in the metro area, 1 in Oxford and they are opening a new location in Nashville this summer.

Keep up with SoulShine at their Facebook page HERE.

I love Soulshine Ridgeland, but Ted Mex was an awful location. Hidden, way in the back. Hope they can make a go of it. I'm afraid it will be out of sight, out of mind. Good luck to Chris and Crew.

Uhm, Mississippi Legends Grill serves alcohol, and it is closer to the church. Glad for the move, the strip mall SoulShine is currently in is horrible to get in and out of, and it has very little parking.
