 Day On The
Mississippi Gulf Coast

JACKSON - Mark your calendar now for Free Fishing Day on the Mississippi Gulf Coast on July 4, 2012.

This free fishing day is a coastal celebration of fishing. On July 4th, any person may sport fish without a license on Mississippi Gulf Coast waters. The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) will recognize this free fishing day on the Mississippi coastal waters of Jackson, Harrison, and Hancock counties. Mississippi Gulf Coast free fishing day will also mark the final day of the 2012 Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo with various events planned in association with this great fishing experience.

During the free fishing day, Mississippi Gulf Coast anglers should get on the water and enjoy the diverse fishing opportunities available in our coastal bays, bayous, and estuaries.
