You Are Invited

We are very lucky to have a nice library at The Rez and even luckier to have a great librarian.

The Central Mississippi Regional Library System is celebrating the 25 years of service Ann Marsh has provided the reservoir community.

Come by the Reservoir Library on Friday, July 6th from 4pm till 6pm and say hello - and thank her for her kind and gracious service.

ongratulations Ann, the residents of the Rez have been so lucky to have your assistance over the years. Hope you are not planning on retiring anytime soon!

Is this the older, aloof lady who looks annoyed anytime I've donated books and magazines and has never offered so much as a thank you?
Oh yeh, that's why I now take them to Flowood. They are much nicer there.

I agree 11:57. Even though it's closer to my house, I go to Flowood. Both of the ladies at the spillway library are grumpy and act annoyed that they actually have to work when you want to check out/return a book.

I wonder who interviews Librarians for Rankin County? Whoever it is I hope they will find someone to fill this vacancy who is out going, sociable, cheerful. One who smiles and looks pleased to see you. Someone who seems genuinely pleased if you ask if you can donate a hard back book in pristine condition. People skills would be a plus in this line of work don't you think? We too gave up on the Reservoir Library and go to the Flowood one where the employees greet you with a warm welcome.
