Crechale's is Coming!

WLBT posted on its website that Crechale's Restaurant, a staple of the City of Jackson for 42 years, will soon be moving operations to Flowood!  See link here.  I remember my grandparents introducing me to Crechale's when I was little.  I'd sit quietly while they and their friends would enjoy fellowship around a good meal.  I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the taste of those onion rings stayed with me for a long time.  When I returned to the Jackson area after graduating college, I was pleased to see that little changed, either in atmosphere or quality of food.  Another good pick-up by the City of Flowood and, apparently, a corollary benefit of Puckett Machinery moving out of Jackson.  Thoughts?

Conflicted. Half the fun was that old building where the memories where made. New strip mall construction won't translate well, at least for those of us who know better. Excited about the food, but they need to make sure they get the location right.

Yup. Fanin Mart had a charm in that old building. Understand why they had to move but not the same in that strip mall.

Love Crechales.....can't wait for them to settle and I'll be right there. Wasn't going to Hwy. 80.

Thanks for moving to an area where there is no "perception of crime", so that we can visit and feel reasonably safe!
