Local Political Signs Laws

I have received a number of inquiries on the issue of political signs in the Reservoir area.  After doing a little research, I ran across one of Jim's old posts on this subject.  It sums it up perfectly.  The only update to Jim's post I can provide is this:  Pursuant to recent contact with Rankin County Community Development Officer, Roy Edwards, Rankin County still does not have a sign ordinance; however, the Overlay District, if adopted, will have an ordinance regulating signs similar to PRVWSD.
