Pelicans in the Reservoir

It's hard not to notice all the pelicans in the Reservoir lately.  They are American White Pelicans and have a wingspan of nine feet, making them one of the largest birds in North America.  Here is a fun fact I didn't know: they breed in the great plains and Canadian west.
