Independence Day Celebration at the Rez Announced

The Barnett Reservoir Foundation recently announced the date for this year's Independence Day Celebration:  Saturday, June 29, 2014.  Mark your calendar.

The 4th of July falls on a Friday, which would seem like a perfect day to celebrate.  If anything changes, I'll let you know.

Agree with your comment on the date. Why not 7/4 or 7/5?

I hope they do not allow the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries to HARASS family boaters this year. They had to make a ticket quota last year to receive a federal grant. Maybe, just MAYBE, Dr. Pollos had a little talk with them. WE WILL BE WATCHING TO SEE IF THESE THUGS HAVE GROWN UP THIS YEAR. By the way, the Reservoir Police are doing a great job keeping all safe. Thanks a million for the PROFESSIONAL job that they are doing. HAPPY 4TH, I HOPE.

5 days early? Come on! Why? Makes no sense to me!!
By the way, please do not use the Carbide Cannon! It is not only disturbing, it scares the hell out of folks!

June 29th is a Sunday in 2014. So I assume this is on Saturday June 28, 2014?

The link where I receive my information says Saturday, June 29. I believe your assumption is correct. I bet they meant to say June 28. I appreciate the head's up.
