Keep the Rez Beautiful Brings Home Award

Keep the Rez Beautiful is the local affiliate of Keep America Beautiful.  That organization is doing amazing things here at the Reservoir.  The following is a blog post from its website:

Keep the Rez Beautiful received the William Nash Award last night, the top award that Keep America Beautiful gives to an affiliate three years old or younger. KRB was nominated for its Great American cleanup held last spring, during which volunteers picked up trash on land and in the water, planted trees and shrubs and installed bird houses.
“We are so proud of our volunteers in the Rez area who made this award possible,” KRB Executive Director Jeannine May said.
The William (Bill) Nash award is described as follows by Keep America Beautiful:
A pioneer in establishing the national Keep America Beautiful affiliate network, Bill Nash worked tirelessly with community leaders across the country. This award recognizes a new Keep America Beautiful affiliate (certified within the last three years) for its outstanding achievement in implementing the Keep America Beautiful System.
