Need Last Minute Valentine Plans

Since Valentine's Day falls on a Friday -- already a popular "dining out" night -- many restaurants are not running specials.  I was able to find a couple who are:

Course 1- Wente Riesling
Braised Rabbit Crepe- Spinach flavored crepe stuffed with braised rabbit and topped with an apple slaw and finished with natural reduction

Course 2- Wente Chardonnay
Duck Tacos- Tortillas filled with duck confit, whipped avocado, grape tomato salsa,
cojita cheese, and baby cilantro

Course 3- Wente Merlot
Seared Diver Scallops- Pan seared scallops served with roasted sunchokes, butternut squash, and finished with a spiced tomato and cranberry relish

Course 4- Wente Cabernet
Buffalo Tenderloin - over duck fat seared finger link potatoes topped with a lobster béarnaise

Lobster Bisque Garnished with saffron rice and lobster salad.
Black Angus Filet or pan seared Gulf Snapper, Gulf shrimp etouffee, sour cream and bacon loaded 
crushed potato, sautéed shitake & spinach.
Baked Alaska for dessert, Half baby pineapple, filled with fruit and ice cream, Brûlée meringue (for two)
