Additional Rain to a Swollen River . . .

. . . produces this.  It's estimated to rise another 4 feet between now and Tuesday, with an estimated peak of 30.5 feet.

Be advised, this "prediction" continues to change.  A few hours after my original post this morning, the predictions show a 32.5 foot crest at 4 p.m. on Thursday.  That's right below the red color, which always makes me a bit nervous.  Check this link for all the latest.

Speaking of water.... our neighborhood headache in Palisades has had a drain put in this week on the two extra "sacred lots" she owns that is dumping directly into the storm drain.... mud & all! It's gushing water & mud, so I'm sure there will be a big mess out here if this rain continues through the night. I'm sure the DEQ will just LOVE this!
