This Week at the Rez

From the PRVWSD's weekly email:

A DRIVE THRU AND SIGN” event will take place today, Wednesday, May 28th from noon until 8:p.m. at Scenic Drive Park (between Turtle Creek and Forest Point off of Spillway Rd).  Residents are urged to drive thru the booths set up on site and sign the petition.  The Barnett Reservoir Foundation is assisting in collection of registered voters signatures on the petition to allow PRVWSD lands in Rankin County to qualify for Resort Status.  

·         The Gator Bait Hatchlings Race is scheduled to take place at Lakeshore Park on May 31st.  For more information on the kayak event and the Gator Bait Paddlers organization, visit:

·         Leaseholders are reminded that posting political signs on their lease property is permitted, but no political signs can be placed on public or un-leased properties within the District.

·         Barnett Reservoir Boat Show is scheduled for this weekend, May 31st & June 1st at the Madison Landing Boat Ramp from noon until dusk.  Come out and see the latest offering in water recreation.  Admission is free!
