PRVWSD Weekly Update

Here is this week's email:

·         ADRIVE THRU AND SIGN” event will take place today, Wednesday, June 11th from noon until 8:p.m. at Goshen Springs boat ramp parking lot (behind Tommy’s Trading Post) off Hwy 43.  Residents are urged to drive thru the booths set up on site and sign the petition.  The Barnett Reservoir Foundation is assisting in collection of registered voters signatures on the petition to allow PRVWSD lands in Rankin County to qualify for Resort Status.

·         Registration for the 3rd Annual Lighted Boat Parade is open.  The parade will take place during the Independence Day Celebration on June 28th.  Visit www.BarnettReservoirFoundation.org for more information.

·         Congratulations to the 13 Reserve Police Officers who graduated the 21 week Reserve Police Academy at the Rankin County Sheriff's Office.  The Reservoir Police Department is very proud that two of the graduates, Jason Burrage and Charlie Morehead, are a part of the Reservoir Police Reserve Unit.
