Thoughts on the Independence Day Celebration

I was on the water partaking in the lighted boat parade, so I didn't have a good perspective on what was going on at the two parks.  It appeared to me Lakeshore Park was more crowded.  It was hard not to notice there were far fewer boats in the parade (if you are voting online, that will be Boat No. 11). However, the quality of the fireworks show made it all better.  What are y'all's thoughts?

The fireworks show was great this year!

I would love to participate in the boat parade but I refuse to pay $30 to do so. The parks and activities are free of charge as is the fireworks show. Why charge for the boat parade? I say make it free as well and it will become a much larger and more enjoyable experience for boaters and spectators.

Charging to be in lighted parade makes about as much sense as having a July 4th Celebration 6 days early, Or, charging the PRV leaseholders to use the parks or lake, who pay for everything, the same as the general public, who pay for nothing. Just examples of the poor regard for us leaseholders. PRV makes some highly questionable decisions.
