... AIRPORT WEATHER WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM CDT...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED AN AIRPORT WEATHER WARNING FOR A 5 MILE RADIUS OF THE JACKSON-EVERS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THE WARNING WILL BE IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM CDT.
AT 1156 AM CDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM RIDGELAND TO GOSHEN SPRINGS TO 6 MILES SOUTHEAST OF PISGAH MOVING SOUTH AT 20 MPH.
THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING NORTH TAILWINDS OF 20 TO 30 KNOTS.
THESE CONDITIONS WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS LOW LEVEL TURBULENCE AND WIND SHEAR CONDITIONS. AIRCRAFT ENGAGED IN LANDING OR TAKEOFF OPERATIONS SHOULD EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION.
