Thank a Veteran Today

Happy Veterans Day, and a heartfelt thank you to those who shouldered our freedom as members of the armed forces.  I get weepy thinking of the sacrifice of those like my grandfather (still doing great at 95), who was plucked off the Pontotoc County farm to fight in wild and strange places during World War II; or my father, who defended the line in Korea, and made a career of the military thereafter.  I understand, and appreciate.  Thank you.

You still have time to make the Veterans Day Ceremony at the War Memorial in Jackson.  See details in this prior post
