Law Day Art Contest

Below is information from the Mississippi Bar Association concerning its Annual Law Day Art Contest.  This is a good way for artists in grades K-12 to be recognized for their work.  If you know of a student who may be interested in taking part, please pass this along.

In conjunction with Law Day USA on May 1, 2015, The Mississippi Bar and local bar associations are conducting their 13th annual statewide Law Day Art Contest. The 2015 Law Day Art Contest theme this year is "Magna Carta: Symbol of Freedom Under Law". Entries are now being accepted until April 2, 2015 and all students grades K-12 across the state are invited to enter. Winners will be selected from every school per grade, and from those winners a first and second place will be awarded overall for the state for each grade. Statewide winners will be presented with award certificates. Their artwork will be displayed in the Capitol during Law Week, April 27th - May 1st and also presented in the summer issue of The Mississippi Lawyer magazine. For questions contact Krissa Dobbins Easley at keasley@msbar.org.
