The Facebook Reservoir Community District Group page is just in time as the mini-storage warehouse and open storage matter has come back and the fastest and easiest way to voice your opinion will be thru this new social media venue and/or appear in person at the Board of Supervisors meeting on May 4, 2015 at 9:00 a.m.  At the appropriate time the Facebook Reservoir Community District Group Page will provide all the information you need to consider their application and then easily voice your opinion to the Rankin County Board of Supervisors via the Group page.

Willie Gavan, Inc. Permit for Conditional Use with a Dimensional Variance
Willie Gavan, Inc. is requesting a conditional use permit for a mini-storage facility comprised of 7 storage buildings, 1 will be climate controlled with an office space.  The site plan also shows an outdoor storage area (for boats, vehicles, RV’s, equipment, trailers, etc…) consisting of 41,426 sf.  The property is located behind the Fred’s and MEA on Spillway Road.  It is a 4.92 acre parcel that is zoned Commercial-2.  The property abuts Regatta Subdivision to the south.  Applicant is also requesting a dimensional variance of 5’ from the required 30’ distance between buildings.

The above use is not stated as a use in Commercial-2 Zoning, thus the need for Willie Gavan, Inc. to apply for approval for conditional use on this property.

We also want to ensure that our records are up to date. We need a contact person for each subdivision within the in the Reservoir Community District (Overlay) District. If you are an Officer or an active member of your Homeowners Association, or if you are willing to be a volunteer to distribute information to your subdivision, please let us know by providing your information to frhhomeowners@gmail.com.  We thank you for helping to protect our tomorrow, today !

The font color and usage of ALL CAPS makes this email one that I could care less about reading...

I hear you. All attempts to change font size, color, etc., from the email failed once I copied and pasted. I decided to quit wasting time trying to change and just post as is.
