Half Shell Oyster House

A Gulf Coast favorite is coming to Flowood.  Half Shell Oyster House plans to open soon at 115 Laurel Park Cove, Flowood.  That's the same building the Flowood Chamber of Commerce is located in, and which previously housed Mississippi College's Flowood Campus.

I have never eaten at this place. Sounds interesting. Flowood needs a seafood establishment. I hope they offer the oysters grilled and with cheese like the Hilton on the river in NOLA. Those are the best but it was the first and last time I have ever eaten oysters.

@msqueenkw97 - I have eaten at the Biloxi location several times and yes, they have an outstanding selection of oysters prepared several ways.
Also, the NOLA Hilton location you are referring to is Drago's and they recently opened a location on County Line Rd in the former Huntington Grill. Same great oysters as the NOLA spot.

That is fabulous news. I don't get out much but plan to make a date night of it. I can't wait. Thanks!

It is common for an eatery to be moving to a new location where the crowd is in order to reach out to a wider audience. Hence, as supporters, we need to consistently research before we head out to our favorite store.
