PRVWSD Bd of Directors Minutes for March 2015

Below are the minutes from the PRVWSD Board of Directors March 2015 meeting.  Of note:

Timberlake Campground is readying for expansion.  The PRVWSD looks to add 27 new pads to the existing campground.  Construction costs are expected to be $1.5 million, and projected annual income of nearly $200,000.

Cars with the Rez Tag license plate will be granted free entry to the parks.

It appears the PRVWSD will again take part in the Mississippi Wildlife Extravaganza.

Troy,

Will the expansion cover any land within the park by the Y? Or is this within the current trailer park only?

It's within the boundaries of the existing Timberlake Campground, and does not include Lakeshore Park.

So it will take 7.5 years to make back the investment, not including maintenance, upkeep, and other expenses that will be incurred??

Question...does a whoppin $1.5 MILLION sound like realistic amount to:
-tear down a structure (former caretaker house)
-replace with mobile home
-add fencing to obstruct view of aforementioned trailer
-do dirt work and paving for additional pads
-put in sewage, power removal service to said pads
-add some trees, bushes

seems a weeee bit high
