On Saturday, It's Rankin County and City of Flowood Day at the Jackson Zoo. Do not adjust your sets. The Jackson Zoo is giving all Rankin County residents half-off zoo admission on Saturday. The Jackson Zoo also joined both the Flowood and Rankin County Chambers of Commerce, so there will be a ribbon cutting at 9:00 a.m. that morning. As a fan of the zoo, and the effect it's had on my kids, I encourage you to take advantage.
