This week's edition includes the following Rez-centric articles:

   -- Reservoir increasing discharge.  Regurgitation of PRVWSD Media Release. The PRVWSD has since decreased the discharge.

   -- East Metro road work resumes April 14.  East Metro will now connect to Old Brandon Road at the Metroplex Boulevard intersection. Look for completion in 1.5 to 2 years.

   -- Flowood Bike trail extension underway.  1.4 miles of mile trails are being constructed from the Nature Trail on Flowood Drive, along Wirtz Road, and connect to Manship Road. It is estimated to cost $1.4 million.

   --  Blood Drive to benefit officer's son.  The City of Flowood and the Flowood Chamber are hosting a blood drive to benefit ReShawd Ellison, son of Flowood PD officer, Dimitri Ellison.  Friday, March 25 from 9 to 4 p.m. at the Chamber of Flowood at 115 Laurel Park Cove.
