Mississippi State Fair

The Mississippi State Fair begins October 5 and ends October 16.  Trustmark Bank sells discounted tickets, but only until this Wednesday.  You can purchase 6 admission tickets for $18 (normally, they are $5 a piece). Parking is $5 a car within the fairgrounds. Children 5 and under are free.

The $25 all-you-can-rides are Friday, October 7 and 14, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The $27 all-you-can-rides are October 10, 11, 12 and 16th.  Those last until about 10 p.m.

"Family Days" are designated as October 11 and 12th.

Look out for Tone Tone the Clown.

Travis Tritt plays opening night (Wendesday the 5th at 7:30 p.m.) (his best song is a Waylon Jennings cover).

The Rez's own Luckenbach plays Friday at 8 p.m. on the Budweiser Stage.

Jesse Robinson plays Saturday night at 8 p.m. on the Bud Stage.

Boyz II Men on Tuesday the 11th at 7:30 p.m. on the Bud Stage.

American Authors are Thursday, October 13th at 7:30 p.m. on the Bud Stage (who can't get this song out of your head).
