Treat Street and Glow Run

Last year, the Rankin County Chamber of Commerce combined a "trick-or-treat" type event for kids with their annual glow run. They called it "Treat Street and the Annual Glow Run".  The results were wildly positive. This year, they are expanding for the anticipated increase in crowds. It will be the place to be on the evening of Thursday, October 27, 2016.

It takes place at the Clyde Muse Center on Hinds County Community College-Rankin Campus in Pearl. It starts at 5 p.m. Arm bands are $5. Your children will get that much in candy, guaranteed.

At 6:30 p.m., the Glow Run starts in the parking lot. The course meanders through the Hinds CC campus until it reaches Highway 80, then goes through Pearl High School before coming back to the parking lot of the Muse Center.  The weather should be good for the race. There is a 5K race and a 1 miler for kids 12 and under.
