Tonight is Flowood Family Fest.  It's free and fun for the entire family.  Chris Janson is the headliner. Only a 5% chance of rain -- the weather will be perfect (75 degrees at 4 p.m. to mid-60s during the fireworks.

From the website:

This is the BIG ONE!  Come join about 10,000 of your closest friend for the biggest FREE PARTY!
The Flowood Family Festival is surely the most prominent and popular.  Held at Flowood’s Liberty Park and coordinated by Flowood Parks and Recreation Department, the Festival is probably the largest free event held in the entire Metro area.  This year the grounds will open at 4:00 pm for family and kids activities - Space Jumps, Slides, Obstacle Courses, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Train Rides, Kids Karaoke, Children Dance Routines, midway-style food and games.  A large static display by the Army National Guard features combat and support equipment for kids of all ages to learn about and enjoy.
Under the lights of Liberty Park, those festivities for the kids carry on through the evening.  At 4:00, the musical events get underway with a local band to warm up the stage.  At 6:00 a regional band takes over with a high energy show that will get you up and keep you on your feet.
By 8:00 the crowds will be warmed up and ready for the feature act - and Flowood has a reputation for bringing in some of America’s top headliners!
To top it off, the Grand Finale Fireworks Display is one of the largest in the area.  Nationally-known pyrotechnic companies compete for the Flowood Show, and its always a truly dazzling finish to one of the Metro's most exciting affairs.
It won’t be a party without you... Be there!
