India Oven on Hugh Ward

There is an Indian restaurant in the Sunoco gas station behind Walgreens on Hugh Ward Boulevard.  It is called Indian Oven -- Cuisine of India.  There is a lunch buffet from 11:30 to 3 p.m., and dinner starts at 4 p.m.

I imagine the food will need to be dynamic to survive in a gas station.  That is all I know.  If anyone has tried it, please comment below about your experience.

sounds enticing.
On a sadder note, Marco's Pizza on Old Fannin in former Soulshine location is closing effective Dec. 31st. They had good pie. Alas, the pizza biz is a very competitive one. Additionally, that location wasn't so great; Bro. Sartain lamented his decision to move Soulshine to that spot from his original joint by the old Blockbuster off Castlewoods Blvd.

Great. Now where the hell are we supposed to get decent pizza delivered from here in the Badlands? It's bad enough with no Waitr app service and no liquor stores. Jesus christ.

I have had good experience with Hungry Howies and they are on the Waitr app as well which makes it easier not to deal with a a delivery driver.

Four of us ate there a couple of weeks ago -- at night, not the buffet. Each of us had different dishes -- 2 had goat and one each on chicken and fish. So, we passed around the dishes and everyone was very impressed. Spice "packages" like I've never had before. Quite good. Will return. None of us, BTW, had anything with curry but I will give that a try on next visit.
